Helsinki International Artists’ Association (HIAA) is pleased to announce its first exhibition of 2025 at Kulttuuritila Merirasti, running from 20th March to 24th April 2025. Titled ’Visions’, this exhibition invites artists and audiences to reflect on the future realities of a sustainable Helsinki. Our goal is to foster a collective understanding of what a sustainable future means. Sustainability is not just environmental but also socio-economic, one cannot exist without the other. How might Helsinki look in the future? Can art influence the trajectory of our shared future?
Through the theme Visions, HIAA seeks to spark a dialogue about the revitalisation of Rastila, encouraging residents and the local community to critically engage with the changes taking place. This exhibition aims to inspire meaningful discussions about urban development, sustainability, and the role of art in shaping the future, empowering the community to ask important questions and actively participate in decisions about their neighbourhood.
