Secondhand Salvationin debyyttisinkku Shine julkaistaan toukokuun lopussa, ja kappaleen julkkareita juhlitaan Kulttuuritila Merirastissa lauantaina 31.5. Sopivasti pelastusta tarjoillaan siis vanhassa kappelissa.
Shine on Secondhand Salvationin tulevan EP:n sinkkujulkaisu, ja se vie kuulijansa rokkiklubien kellarien hikiseen, huohottavaan ja sykkivään maailmaan. Se kertoo heittäytymisen pelosta ja hurmasta ja siitä, miten kipu ja nautinto lähestyvät toisiaan. Shine on kappale yön eläjille, maanalaisille pakopaikoille ja ihmisen ikuiselle halulle samaan aikaan sulautua yhteen muiden kanssa ja tulla huomatuksi.
Secondhand Salvation on kolunnut romuvarastoja hitaasti kiiruhtaen jo syksystä 2023, ja nyt on tullut aika lähettää ensimmäinen teos siivilleen ja toivoa, että ne kantavat. Toivotamme kaikki tervetulleeksi kuulemaan sen myös elävänä ja juhlimaan hetkeä kanssamme

The debut single from Secondhand Salvation will be released in the end of May, and the single release party will take place at Kulttuuritila Merirasti on Saturday, 31st of May. Fittingly Salvation will be served at an old chapel.
Shine is a single release from Secondhand Salvations’ upcoming EP. It guides it’s listeners down to smoky basement rock clubs, sweaty, panting and pulsating. It’s a song about the fear and awe of letting go and about the ever tightening knot of pain and pleasure. Shine is a piece for creatures of the night, for underground escape places and for the age old human urge to dissolve into the crowd while craving the spotlight all the same.
Secondhand Salvation has been slowly rummaging through junkyards since the fall of 2023, picking up pieces for their art, and now it’s time to let the first piece spread its wings and see if it can fly. We welcome everyone to celebrate its flight with us, and to hear the song played live
